Pep Guardiola reportedly turned one of the most painful periods of his personal life into a powerful motivational message for his Manchester City players during one of the toughest spells of his managerial career.

Guardiola reportedly explained that he was divorcing Serra, whom he had described in deeply affectionate terms, while emphasizing that he still loved her.
