One of the most eye-catching photographs showed Rice enjoying himself at an upmarket beachside restaurant in Sardinia. Joining him were television personality and well-known West Ham supporter James Corden and former Hammers captain Mark Noble.

The trio appeared to be enjoying the Mediterranean surroundings after Rice’s exhausting season.

Another photograph demonstrated the particularly close relationship Rice continues to have with Noble. The pair were pictured together on a boat, with Rice putting his arm around his former West Ham team-mate.

Rice’s connection with West Ham remains an important part of his career story. He developed through the club’s system before becoming a first-team regular and eventually captain. Noble, meanwhile, was already an established West Ham leader and became an influential figure during Rice’s development.

Their relationship has continued long after they stopped playing alongside one another.

Rice also has Noble to thank for another friendship featured prominently during his holiday. It was reportedly Noble who introduced the England midfielder to Corden several years ago.

Corden’s love for West Ham is well known, giving the pair an obvious shared connection. What began as an introduction gradually developed into a genuine friendship.

Rice has previously revealed that he and Corden stay in regular contact and frequently speak through FaceTime. They have also been spotted having meals together in London, demonstrating that their friendship extends beyond occasional meetings at football events.
