‘Literally a magician on the pitch’ – Fans left amazed as Max Fosh SETS FIRE to yellow card in Sidemen Charity Match
MAX FOSH is well-versed in tricks against the referee in Sidemen Charity Matches, but this might be his maddest yet.
Two years ago, he pulled out an UNO reverse card on ex-Prem referee Mark Clattenburg, before being booked last year and going on to SHRED the yellow card.
This time, he turned into an actual on-pitch magician and set FIRE to the card he had just received.
With internet sensation Marlon Garcia driving through midfield, Strictly star George Clarke attempted to pull him down before he was finally rugby-tackled to the floor by Fosh.
Clattenburg, of course, made a point of making sure he was booked.
He called Fosh over and dished out the yellow.
Fosh, though, shocked everyone inside Wembley Stadium and watching at home, when he grabbed the card from the referee and showed the crowd, before somehow incinerating it in front of 90,000 people.
Fans watching on were delighted by the display, comically labelling him a “magician on the pitch.”
One fan wrote: “Okay, I just saw a video of Max Fosh lighting a yellow card on fire. They’ve reeled me back in.
Another poked fun at him one-upping his own stunt last year, joking: “Max Fosh does it again and does it better.”
Fosh is a YouTuber, radio presenter and social media personality who entered the race to be London mayor in 2021, in spite of admitting he didn’t have “the expertise” for the job.
He also made headlines in 2022 when he technically became richer than Elon Musk in just seven minutes before being accused of fraud.
The Sidemen match itself has never failed to deliver on the entertainment front, and Fosh is a big part of that.
This year already, there have been some stunning goals, more hilarious moments, and some crunching tackles too.
Last year’s edition raised over £4.7 MILLION for charity, including Children in Need.
Wembley is packed full, with all 90,000 tickets selling out for the event that kicked off at 3pm today.
