MICHAEL CARRICK REJECTS CLAIMS OF AN EASY MANCHESTER UNITED START

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has dismissed suggestions that his side have been given a straightforward opening to the new season, describing the idea as “ridiculous.” With United preparing to begin their campaign away at Hull City before hosting Ipswich Town at Old Trafford, Carrick insists that neither fixture should be underestimated.
